balance is what is-is-is-is a safety net, right? Fundamentally, what balance in a fighting game does is, it lets you tell your player, look, trust us, no matter what road you decide to pick, you will be competitively viable, right? And really, what’s at stake there is, you don’t want someone to have a-a-a negative experience. You don’t want someone to have, to stop enjoying your game because they lost a character select. That right there is-is kind of, uh, the sin of an unbalanced game. But, um, we’ve seen that in a lot of the-the kind of the games that have, that have struck, uh, the competitive community’s hearts, right, the ones that we love the most, are also some of the most competitively unbalanced.
