It’s the passing of time. It’s the discovery, each day, that there’s some part of my life that I didn’t know about and that is being shown to me. And the only thing I know how to do is continue to try to attempt to put that into the work. And the - the re - I mean, like, it’s life - it’s life, right? Like, that’s the tritest true, you know, most like - the broadest true-ism possible but like every single day that you live and learn something - all that I know how to do is just keep trying to put it back into the work, right? This is how I feel about something. This is some idea that I have about the world. This is what I think makes people happy. This is what I think makes people unhappy. This is why I think we want to discover. This is why I think we want to create, blah, blah, blah. And just, like, keep digging that out, like, as far as possible. Um, I - the - the - the game - the - the active creating this - this game itself was play, right? Like, I - I don’t feel like I was playing with anything because I felt like - like the game itself was play, right? It was - it was just exploration and expression without outcome, you know? It was - it was creation simply for its own sake. And there were lots of times where it was like, “We’re here to finish a game. We’re here to, like, get this thing shipped and out the door.” Like, there was plenty of, like, structural, procedural things that we had to go through but the game itself - it was like every single time we came back to it - we kept - we kept coming back to it over and over and - and throwing out what we had done before and being like, “It’s not - it - we have to rethink about what - what we’re doing.”
