There is no games should, or games should do this or should do this, or games should not do that. It really is about the people making them. I come from a writing background and I am really interested in the ways you can explore narrative with character and do that in a interactive way, so that is what I am doing and I like that. There are other people that don't care as much about story or are interested in other types of interactivity and they do their thing, and that is what I hope for most in the industry is that it broadens and everybody gets to do what they think is interesting in pursuing and push that edge out. There is no one front where everyone is fighting the battle of expanding the industry and art of games. There are many fronts and I would like to think of us all as artists and all pushing on our own front to explore that new territory in our own different way.
