there was so little memory that it only took a couple of months to fill up the ROM, okay? So, f- and there were so many limitations that it made sense that the game designer and the programmer were the same person because you had to make the tradeoffs to dec- to decide - you had to know what was possible technically to make the trade offs, and - and it was your job to make those tradeoffs and come up with a game that was interesting and fun to play, all right? So, as one person, you had the concept. You wrote the program. You did the graphics. You wrote - you did the sound. You tested it with kids. You debugged it. You decided when it was finished. Then, you handed it in, and they manufactured a few hundred thousand and sent ‘em all over the world. It was fun.
